Friday night episode was one of the best all season. 893applaud-thumb.gif

Classic writing. Baltar inside No. 6's head...brilliant!!

I jumped when I saw that thinking omg he's a cylon.

Then right away I realized what was going on. 893applaud-thumb.gif

That's one of the problems...

Because they've only shown half of them, they can't spoil it by showing other models in the background. That also means that the public scenes on Caprica only show the known Cylons when logically more Cylons should be intermixing in public.

There are 8 Cylons in the fleet.

Known Models:

Number Three - D'anna Biers - Lucy Lawless

Number Five - Aaron Doral - Matthew Bennett

Number Six - Number Six - Tricia Helfer

Number Eight - Sharon Valerii - Grace Park

Leoben Conoy - Callum Keith Rennie

Simon - Doctor who cared for Kara Thrace

Eh. Not necessarily. Maybe the other six are even kept secret from the known six. You know, super-duper-secret Cylons.

By the way, should we be capitalizing cylon? They are only machines, after all...

I believe Bulletheads are one and so are the Raiders -- that makes 8 total that they've shown.

Yeah.. I'm personally not sure if they mean humano-cylons or cylons in general when they say there are 12 models.

(Yeah, I started lowercasing the word "cylon". grin.gif)

Now that was an ep worth watching!

Can't wait for October.

Not expecting scenes from next week, I was going to change the channel and almost missed Six's voice over the end credits. Very cool

A great setup for next season. 2 Battlestars and the fleet completely under-crewed. Cyclons on the planet. 2 more cylon models revealed this ep. the possible backstory of a Cylon civil war (how very marvel).

gonna be a long 7 months.

and still the Pegasus is around!

Spoiler Warning!!!

This was an interesting episode for sure with some amazing wholesale changes made in the last thirty minutes, but some things just don't add up:

1. Roslin has made decisions that have left thousands of people dead (abandoning the non-FTL drive ships in the mini-series for one), yet she can't, in the end, stomach stealing the election from a person she knows to be a Cylon collaborator?

2. It's a year later on New Caprica. Surely the survivors would be able to fashion buildings more advanced than tents.

3. Baltar is like a kooked out [embarrassing lack of self control]'s vision of Clinton inhaling and on Viagra, and he isn't even attempting to hide his corruption. Where's the press that was hounding Roslin?

One other question: Where is Zarek? Was he killed when Cloud 9 bit the big one?

I guess there will be six and a half months of speculation.

Of course, we're all assuming this stuff really happened. Remember, Baltar is asleep at his desk, then lifts his head and it's "one year later".

Or, things started feeling a bit dream-like to me earlier, on Caprica, when the Cylons abandoned the fight. Maybe they gassed the colonials after all...

I don't think this writing staff would pull a "it was all a dream", but they've certainly left open that possibility.

Strangely enough I heard a news broadcast on my local AM news station (WTOP)last night before I saw the episode. They ran a segment on how popular BG is, but they said that last night's episode (unless I heard them wrong) would reveal some sort of twist in Apollo's character. I didn't see any.

What a great show! Awesome that Dean Stockwell ("Quantum Leap" - which should still be made into a feature film!) has a role.

The only twist I saw was the fat suit they had him in for the last half hour, and the bad haircut(or lack thereof).

Starbuck looked pretty hot with the long hair, though.

Where's Deathlok? I thought he'd be all over this thread today.
