X-Men 18 HG Please grade my book

Robert Beerbohm here going back to grading school. I wish to thank those who have ventured opines on the first batch i listed here. I will be posting a series of books over the next couple weeks in an effort to come up to speed on tightened grading standards coupled with having bought a few pairs of eye glass 2.75 magnification "cheaters" to augment waning 20/20 vision brought on by advancing years. the top edge is not bad at all - it appears the top is inverted a bit, but zero edge wear if that is what you are thinking you see, which it appears it might be from looking at the posted scan - there is no ragged edge at the top - zero - so maybe a 9.0 ?

Then yes, I could see this grading at a 9.0

That spine will keep it from a 9.0. I'd say a solid 8.5. 8.0 if the graders are feeling stingy.

The Grading Bastiche says...8.5. Other than a few spine breaks and what appears to be overhang, this is right in that grade.
