NY Comic-con Forum Dinner

40 posts in this topic

We would love to host a get together at the Metropolis offices. We have some of the most amazing restaurants, all within a 3 block radius.

Steve

How about Rosa Mexicana? It is right around the corner from you. maybe we could start at your place and roll over to there. I asked about their private room. 3hr cocktail party (open bar) would be $100 + tax + gratuity = $128 The only problem is there is a minimum so we would need a certain number to make it viable.

That sounds fine. We are literally one floor above Rosa Mexicano.

Damn! Last time I was in NYC we went to Rosa Mexicano. If I had known you were that close I'd have made an appointment to go to the bathroom at your place. =p

If we do this at Steve's, then we just may have the first OA and comic book combined dinner! I'll muster the OA "troops", if we go this route.

Sounds good to me. thumbsup2.gif

So next time, get the extra bean special and then go upstairs to use the bathroom... thumbsup2.gif I hope that they don't make you sign a waiver, because some of the OA just might curl up!

Had dinner at Masa last week. Amazing. Unfortunately, dinner for 2 is about $900.00

Is this why your prices are so reasonable? poke2.gif

If someone is already working on this, then I apologize and I will take a step back. If not, does anyone want to be involved in a Forum dinner after the Javits show on Saturday evening Feb 25th? If you are, then I would need a sense of how many would like to attend, what kind of price range you would like and I will start the ball rolling.

I have just found out that my son is now the lead in the Spring production of his school play. The premiere is Saturday night Feb 25th so I have to bow out gracefully in coordinating this dinner. I will be at the Con on Friday night and Saturday morning-afternoon so I hope to run into a few fellow collectors.
