Great shots Comicdonna!

The thing that strikes me about your collection is the consistency in condition and eye appeal. You don't need high grade books to have an amazing collection (although it helps!).

Well done!! :applause:

Question: are you consistent with your PQ, or does that slide a bit?

:hi: Everyone:

I thought I would update my group shot today. Last time, I

tried to do it in one shot. This time, I thought I would splurge

on film. I'm trying to focus on my #65 through #100 run

but, as you all know, there are them books that you can't resist.

There are many that I would like above #100. I am not responsible

for the messy table. You can clearly see that I tried to cover it

up with black velvet cloth.

It's funny that you mention this. I was going to include it in my post.

When I am going to purchase a book, I look for one that has nice eye-appeal in

a grade that I can afford. I don't purhase books with a name on the cover. Initials or a date stamp is fine. Page quality is important to me. 3 of these books have white pages. However, there is at least 1 with cream to 0ff-white pages.

I do appreciate all of the comments. These boards make collecting so much more fun.

One more thing: I do prefer to purchase raw. Ayt least 24 of these books were in fact purchased raw.

Sometimes a slab becomes available, and my control becomes weak.

I can appreciate sticking to strict criteria ... unfortunately, its something I don't do enough of, but I'm trying! I have learned this from other board members, and it really makes for a nice collection.

Congrats on a great selection of books!!

Do you ever buy raw and then slab, or is it only slabbed books you are after?

Hi Comicdonna, super nice looking books!!! :headbang:

What if the name on the cover of your book is Lamont Larson??? I know that wouldn't put you off!!! hm

P.S. If it does please PM me and I'll make some kind of a swap/deal with you. I'd be glad to take them off your hands for you!!!

lol No danger in that happening. However, if I am blessed, there are always exeptions to the rule. ;)

Since I just added a couple of Heroic Comics (one thanks to Bill - ciorac), I am getting away from the Nedors for a bit to post this updated shot. Still need 5 more to complete a run of 1-15.

Really nice set, telerites! :applause:

I'm working on a similar run myself, but not too assertively as I'm having great difficulty finding copies with decent paper.
