I try not to be too concerned with the technical grade so long as the book looks nice. For instance, the AA61 looks like a 7.5 or 8.0 from the from the front. It's knocked down to a 5.5 because of a half inch tear on the bottom edge of the back cover. But it those kinds of minor defects that keep otherwise nice books affordable!
