Now for something a bit different.... A true icon of my misbegotten youth. I can still remember, as a young child, walking into a bookstore and seeing this sitting on a display.

 

I begged my parents to buy it, and after I got home with it, begged them to let me take it to school (from where I bought it, probably Grade 2-3), and let me tell you, I was king of the school that day. Every one of my friends wanted to look at the book, and it was treated like some religious artifact for that entire school day. Even the teachers didn't confiscate it.

 

I still have that copy sitting on my bookshelf and that is where it will stay. cloud9.gif
