And although this is a Marvel thread, I wanted to give the DC fanboys something to cheer for. Here's a very nice ad promoting one of the forum's top BA covers:

Here's a truly climactic confrontation between two of Marvel's all-time baddest baddies:

That is a great, very cool ad featuring two nice Kirby-drawn characters. And JC, this is a GREAT thread. I like Silver Age promos quite a bit. thumbsup2.gif

The ad below from Tales to Astonish 59 is not a Bronze promo, but it's unique in that the art is actually a stat of the Hulk from the cover of Hulk #1, with Banner whited out and Hulk redrawn for the ad. My apologies for re-posting to those who've seen it in the art threads.

Who among us doesn't remember the Marvel Treasury Editions with fondness? I can recall buying the on that reprinted FF 120-123 from an old bookstore and reading it so many times the cover fell off.

Here's the one that started it all, the Spectacular Spider-man:

To end off this Trip down Treasury Lane, here's a monster promo covering off quite a few of the best of the MTE line, including that "Savage Fists of Kung-Fu" one that was hard to track down.
