Another Iron Man - Daredevil cross-over classic.

On an interesting side-note Marvel was going to combine these two low-selling books into a single mag circa 1971 or so, but changed this plan at the last minute.

Smilin' Stan was never one to let a Harlan Ellison epic go unpromoted, and this Two-Part Triumph crossing over from the Avengers to the Incredible Hulk was certainly worthy of an in-house ad:

As you might have noticed from the Warlock promo, these ads were done well ahead of time, sometimes apparently before the final character design is set.

Adding to the weirdness of the image is the fact that the poor gal doesn't seem to be too worried about the rats knawing on her bare legs and is instead covering up her chest - what are these, pervert rats? confused-smiley-013.gif
