MODERN BINS?

Thinking about gathering up a pile of moderns to sell, but have no idea what they go for. Maybe run a forum only auction for a 25-book lot or something?

Not even sure exactly what I've got yet. Most likely predominantly Marvel though.

 

I know I have JLA/Avengers 1-4, but not sure aside from those.

 

Got some USMs, UFF 1-4, 1602, ASM, etc..

Just curious what % of cover stuff sells for.

Depends on the stuff. If I can get half cover for 99.5% of the books that've come out since 1990, it's a win. But its also rare to get anywhere near that.

If long runs are easy to dig up, do that. Stuff like FF 350 - end sell well enough for $1 a book.

 

At some point I'll probably look to complete runs of books I stopped getting in the 90s cause they stunk, just to satisfy the completionist in me. I'm sure others are looking to do the same, maybe just not here.

What about ASM 471-516. Are these $1 books as well?

I'd say yes. A quick check of eBay mostly confirms it. If you had them in one long high grade run, you might pull in $55-60.

Minus the 911 issue, I have a complete run of 471-516 in 9.6/9.8 unopened condition. Not worth selling at $1 a pop though. Rather just read them.
