I'm totally thrilled about my **first** Fox Features comic book!!! The artist, the colors, the hypnotized x-ray see-through lady... what more could one ask for?!? (I suppose the obvious answer to that question would be Weird Comics #1.)

Thanks to Straw-Man for pointing me to this board.

Wow!! Beautiful copy of a tough book. Congrats. :applause:

Great book, I'm certain a few of us fox fans were bidding on it, wish I had bid more.

Thanks for the kind words.

Re bidding... After being shut out from Planet #14 by a fellow boardie the week before ;) (May 2016 Heritage Signature Auction), I decided to double-down on Weird #2. I'm just glad the bids stopped when they did!!

So here's a Fox you don't see every day. And come on, who doesn't love a free copy? :cloud9:

Love it! There were some killer Flame covers and that one ranks among the best. Congrats!

I have only have one Fox and it is a Weird #7 which I'm happy to have picked up and read at a WonderCon up in San Francisco a number of years ago.

The cover was disclosed as being cleaned but it sure makes the colors pop. I'd been thinking of selling this baby but every time I do something stops me!

Was it the good kind of clean that CGC approves of ;) ; or the bad kind of clean a la Mark Wilson  ?

Don't know; I'll need to have some of the pros here check it out.

An 8+ year quest came to an end this month when I was finally able to marry my Fantastic Comics #22 front cover with a coverless interior. Huge thanks to amigo Gino for tipping me off about the coverless copy! I definitely would have missed out on it if not for his thoughtfulness.

Without further adieu, here's a complete-as-it's-going-to-get copy of Fantastic Comics #22.
