I'm a FATHER! MY SON was born today!

He's a little guy, only 4 pounds 13.5 ounces. My wife delivered him after a 3 hour grueling "push" session this morning at 10:39 A.M. (after about a 14 hour induced labor).

 

It's the most amazing experience in my entire life!!!!!!!!!!

 

I figured I'd post this in golden age as I do the bulk of the posting in here.

 

Details and pictures to follow after the dust settles.

You son shares a Birthday with many great people. Such as Rembrandt, Richard Russo and Linda Ronstadt. Well, and Me. So Happy Birth Day to your Child Shield. Now, I know I have to get the kid a gift!!! grin.gif

congrats! it'll be especially rewarding in 8-15 months when the little guy clumsily walks up to greet you at the door with a huge grin when you come home from work and then plops down on his rear in the foyer because walking that 15 feet was so exhausting!
