PGM X-Men #1

First off, all pages and cf attached to both staples. Lies flat. Still retains some gloss.

 

FC- Whites are yellowing. LRC has multiple CBC's. One long CBC Goes through Beast's hand and continues through Iceman. Those are not tears on the RH edge, those are stresses.

 

BC- General yellowing of the whites. Not to bad in general. The condition of the book is going to be set by what's going on on the FC, IMHO

Just to play devil's advocate...I can see 3.5 on this one, but the 3.0s seem on the harsh side to me. In 4.0, Overstreet allows for "some discoloration" (check) and even brown pages (obviously pages here are nicer than that). There's a fair amount of creasing, but strong eye appeal...looks much better than the average 3.0. The back cover wear seems pretty minor on my screen, and would drop a higher grade issue, but I don't see it tugging this book below 3.5/4.0. My two cents. smile.gif
