I chose FF #8 because it was one of the earliest available at that comic-shop in Los Angeles when I went, and one of the early FF stories that impressed me more as a child.
The relationship between Alicia and his father is troubled but deeply human – Kirby knew how to unfold these things and Stan worded them perfectly.
