I just received an E-mail from an expert on Green River Pedigree books

and he wanted me to inform you all that the Strange Tales 135 ending

on CLink tonight is not a Green River Pedigree.

You are correct Sir!! (thumbs u What he mentioned was apparently the GR books never had any dashes on their red Date Stamps.

Ahhh, elucidation + good to know!! BTW, Red is sorely missed. His "12 Steps for Comics Anonymous" were one of the all time funniest things I've ever read on these boards

Strange Tales 135, CGC 9.2 = $1,900 with 35 bids and still more than four days left in the auction.

 

GPA high is $975 from December and the previous high is $600. There are only 5 sales ever over $400. Are white pages really worth that much?

Beats the out of my Vg copy.... come to think of it I think I only have like 5 issues in the 9 and up range out of all of the ST issues I have, and they are probably later ones (have not looked at them in a while). I love this cover, classic indeed.

Thanks for the kind comments. Truth is that I've had the book for years, I just

kept it for my personal enjoyment. Finally decided to make it public.

 

Rich, you've got a stunning ST 101-134 run, so I don't feel too bad about having

at least one book you'd want;-)

 

Did you guys check out the winning ST prices at Heritage? The Slobodian copies

did amazingly well with the #131 9.4 going for almost $2900, and many others blowing

away established prices.

ST #117 9.4 ow-w= $2270. This one looked like the "bargain" of the lot!!

ST #131 9.4 w= $2868. The one you mentioned + going for triple FMV!!

ST #135 9.4 ow= $5377. I know there's tons of hype around Nick Fury + future films, but C'MON!!! Glad I picked up my copy for less than a quarter of this
