First thing that crossed my mind when I saw it. You’d be hard pressed to find a decent 9.2 copy on the market.

Early hero Strange Tales issues are super tough to find in 9.4, forget about 9.6!  Same for JIM, TOS, and TTA but I think Strange Tales is probably the toughest of the four.

In my own quest to complete 9.4 runs, I am still unable to find:

• 5 issues of Strange Tales (#103, 104, 111-113) -- note that I am sitting on 9.0 for #110 and not looking to upgrade
• 5 issues of Tales to Astonish (#42, 44-46, 62) -- #62 is by far the latest publication date in this entire group and is just notoriously, inexplicably tough
• 2 issues of Journey Into Mystery (#85 and 94) -- to be fair, I only just started looking for #85 and it's going to take a gut check to fork over the necessary funds
• 1 issue of Tales of Suspense (#40)

I'm happy to say I have all of the above in 9.0 or 9.2, but 9.4s and 9.6s are few and far between.

I don’t buy much SA anymore. But I had to get these two at CalCon on Sunday. I bought these off the rack new. They went the way of the garbage can after I moved out of my childhood home.

Best part was I traded a dealer 3 underground comics that I got at a flea market and meant nothing to me.

Am looking forward to rediscovering my youth again.

I was happy to pick-up this ST Annual #2. I had a CGC 8.0 some years ago and then upgraded a little with this one. I love that old Jack Kirby Spider-Man drawing.
