Paratrooper covers RUN

These covers are always great to see, especially to a war comics fan like myself. I never would've dreamed there'd be so many.

Btw, I was reading War Story/Archangel again this afternoon and the RAF pilot refuses to parachute into the water after running his fuel down to nothing protecting a convoy. He's going to try to make the Russian air strip instead even though it seems higher risk. He just doesn't want to get into the water and then get run over by the Navy! devil.gif

3 more books in today, purchased from Metropolis. I don't care what this board says about these guys, I contacted them telephonically and they were extremely helpful. They were willing to haggle a little on the price of these books, and their grading is very accurate. So here they are:

Boy Comics #33

And now for the grail post (hopefully not the only one to come), remind me to get a better scanner. A lot of these books are actually better in person than these scans show.

All-Select Comics #1

Congratulations!

Just curious but do you know what the earliest parachute cover is?

Not yet, I'm still searching. But that's a good question. Over the weekend I'll look through my books and see what's the earliest trooper book that I Have. Come to think of it, I probably should have posted dates with the books in this thread.
