Collection Gone - Top Ten Reacquires?

Hello All. This is my first post; been lurking for a while. I've enjoyed reading the wealth of information and silliness on these boards. Forgive me (that includes you JC smirk.gif) if the following has already been a thread:

 

Here is a cheery topic for my first post. I was contemplating what I would do if I lost my collection somehow and what I would reacquire first (assuming I started up again). Here is my top ten (in no particular order):

 

Secret Wars #8 - black costume goodness

ASM #275 - awesome cover and hobgoblin

ASM #250 - It's great! Steal it! grin.gif

ASM #103 - awesome cover, fun story

Batman 400 - want it signed by everyone involved - Great Superman vs. Batman essay by Stephen King

ASM #252 - first key that I bought off a comic rack. cloud9.gif

Hulk #340 - two of my faves battling it out - fave McFarlane cover

Uncanny #212 - wolverine/sabretooth back when that was cool

Star Wars #68 - boba fett -back when he was cool

Wolverine 1 (limited series) - Frank Miller, that cover, great story

 

Now remember these are reacquires. If you play along -your ten have to be books that you currently have and would most actively seek out after a catastrophic event destroyed your collection. Obviously, they aren't the original books you owned. Some books, for a variety of reasons, would be irreplaceable. I didn't take condition into consideration for my list but that will probably be a huge reason for many of you. (Actually, with my ASM 103 it probably did play a role). Feel free to include the grade.

Welcome to the boards!

 

For me, it would largely be the key books since my strategy on collecting is to go for keys first.

I'm not sure I could afford to re-aquire some of these books at today's prices. I better make sure my Collectible's Insurance is paid up!
