In lieu of my recent encounter with anaphylaxis over some Thai cuisine, I may need to play it safe and stick to the steamed rice, but I'm still coming.

Some shrimp made it's way into my chicken dish at the Thai restaurant and I had an allergic reaction (probably compounded by eating it in a room full of people eating food with peanut, soy, fish and shellfish in it - all things I'm allergic to).

 

It wasn't so much choking as I stopped breathing completely and they had to stick a tube down my throat so that they could get me breathing again. My heartrate and breathing were aggravated and then my blood pressure and heartrate dropped rapidly and I required Epinephrine and adrenaline to get those things going again.
