I remember some guy having a site up, discussing gems like these...

But then he forgot to update his site and now it's in internet-limbo

 

If I can just remember who that guy was .. grin.gif

And yes, due to the Wizard listing of Avengers 85, I think avengers 70 is a supremely undervalued book.

The Squadron Sinister make a cameo appearance in the final panel of Avengers #69.

Although the Squadron Supreme do make a first appearance in Avengers #85, the cover incorrectly references the Squadron Sinister!

It wouldn't be the last time the Marvel creative team made such an error.

Bingo. This is easily the best SS story written to date (and features the first appearance of Nebulon the Celestial Man).

Classic Marvel from the era of greatness.
