Apparently it's the highest graded Hulk #1 ever by CGC whether unrestored or restored, but not nearly as valuable as many of the books in the rarified air of the unrestored column on the census. In hand, it looks flawless and even with the purple label (I knew 100% about the restoration) I'm very happy with it. Whats the history of the book, is there a story attached to it? Do have any pre-resto pics, it had to have been quite an impressive copy from the start. The overall apparent high grade look of this book is what drew me to it, but I'm also very happy I received the 9.6 grade. I bought it online already restored and finally sent it to CGC. I didn't get any of the history behind the restoration or pictures of its original state. That would have been cool to see, though. I think you're correct. You generally have to start with a pretty high end book to achieve this level of results, which can be a very questionable move financially given the huge sums of money paid for unrestored keys.
