Not mentioning any names, but are there any board rules on selling comic porn/fetish stuff?

 

Common sense would dictate that you don't do it. I'd advise sending a pm - as I did - asking the seller to remove said material, if it hasn't happened already

Actually, this is a serious topic... one that Arch should probably address.

 

There's an age limit for registering on this board but there's no limit for anonymous users. (Plus the age limit seems to be lower than 18.)

Not that I don't take it seriously, but any measure of sincerity is hard to swallow when it's being spouted from Radovan Delic's sandbox.

I had to shut off signatures because my daughter often runs into the office while I'm "working" (ha-ha!) and looks over my shoulder. :)

If I have someone post in my selling thread that they will "take" my book pending PM. I then PM to confirm but they haven't gotten back on the boards to read my response. He has not read the response PM yet. Then I have another board member also want to purchase. Who does the book belong to?

If you took his offer it should be his.

However how long should you wait until he gets back to you?

He wanted to confirm my confidence that the book was a certain grade. My PM confirmed the grade, with details of the imperfections and the qualities of the book. The PM ended by saying "do we have a deal," just to make the buyer was 100% confident of the purchase. He hasn't read my response yet, although, he did indicate not to worry if he didn't back to me right away in his initial PM, with the indication that he would be traveling...

 

I'm thinking under this circumstance, you probably are right that it is his book.

Hey guys, I posted my first sales thread and I had updated my first post and now the post doesnt have the "Edit" button on it. Is there any way to be able to edit it if someone decides to buy the comics in that post?

 

Also, how do you edit the topic?

I'm tired of pizzing in the wind pointing out The Guidelines when they're ignored, but I have to say it's powerful annoying when people - especially long-time boardies - decide the Guidelines aren't meant for them, notably #2:

 

"No spamming. Group your for sale items into as few threads as is reasonable. Attempts to take up front page real estate by creating multiple threads for no reason are not allowed."
