Somewhere I have an irradiated dime they were giving out at the NY World's Fair in '64 or '65!! It was in a nice little plastic holder emblazoned with the nuclear symbol. Kind of like old Vaseline Glass objects that have radioactive material that makes the rim glow. Just couldn’t do that now days. I have “accumulated” a lot of these encapsulated cents over the years. Advertising promotional items. Other than the Dell Comics one, here is the only other comic related one I have come across. This is from the Pioneer Co that made items for boys in 1946. Featured Superman and Lone Ranger. I actually have a beautiful Superman box lid for socks from this company. OtherEric Posted November 20, 2023 Share Posted November 20, 2023 So, my regular comic shop offered me the first shot at a stack of over 40 Dells, at roughly $5 a book if I grabbed them all. About half WDC&S and half Raggedy Ann and Andy. I was of course interested in all of those, for the Kelly, Barks, and Stanley stories. Someone posted a Target: The Corruptors awhile back, and thought it looked like it was a 60s TV show so I looked at Youtube.
