Why, did he steal it from my massive Byrne X-Men collection?

 

Maybe he was worried that you would consider it a copper book rather than bronze since it is from January, 1980. I forgot about the publication date until I saw Mr. HG's post because all those great Byrne/Cockrum books are bronze in my brain.

Dang! I've been looking for a nice 129 in 9.6 for months!! (one with a non-nosebleed price). Kitty Pryde was my favorite character growing up for some odd reason.

 

Anyhoo, nice 9.8!!

Its kinda redonkulous what we collectors are willing to pay for a 9.8 vs. a 9.6- especially when its kind of all chance with CGC.

 

The difference between a 5K and a 35K book is perhaps a small spine crease - if not less. I have 9.8s books that I swear are 9.6s and vice versa!
