It has no number, Its a prestige format that was made in 2005. Tough book to find I have seen it sale as much as $50 on Ebay, I myself have 2 of them Ebay has 3 on sale now

I only saw one on ebay and the seller has a horrible feedback. Seem to be selling at an average around $45.

Really SP and tough to find. With all the Batman and Joker junkies out there that makes it a $44.99 book.

What makes this book so tough is that there are no reprints. Also from what I heard is that this book had a low print run. Also the story line is about the first encounter between joker and batman, put all together = hard book to find and in demand,= high price

Did "The Killing Joke" have a number of reprints? I remember the hype on that one when it came out...I did remember buying and reading it...good stuff. If I'm not mistaken it doesn't command as high of a price.

At least 10 printings of Killing Joke, IIRC, Sterling. A 9.8 can be had for pretty darn cheap...

Just found a dealer selling Batman: the Man who Laughs for cover price of $6.95 so ordered it, let's see if it arrives...

 

Of course I also found someone listing a VF+/NM copy of G.I. Joe #21 for $5.00, another for G.I. Joe #151 for $3.00 so let's see if those arrive also.
