Which would you rather own, All Star Comics 8 or Sensation Comics 1

Neither. I would take a Sensation Comics 92.

 

However, if forced to choose I would take All Star 8.

All-Star 8. Sensation 1 has a nicer looking cover, but I personally prefer the first appearance.

I don't see anything wrong with the cover image, especially when I can't even remember what the cover for Sensation #1 looks like.

I actually like the cover to All-Star 8 better than Sensation 1, plus with All-Star being the first appearance, my choice is easy.

Good choice, Rick. I'm working on a run of All-Stars myself. I just picked up #45 from Comic Link this week, giving me 23 of the 57 issues. I hope to find one or two this weekend at the New York show.
