I've been pretty disciplined in that I've been purchasing mostly ASMs, but now that I'm down to 13 issues to go, I've started to branch off:

Galactus and other herald Appearances

Spectre / Phantom Stranger / Deadman / Other BA Horror

I voted 50 - 100. Many of mine are not expensive books (maybe the $20 and less range.) I tend to re-examine it every 4 years or so.

I've recently realized that my want list is getting way out of hand and have had to whittle it down to a more manageable size of about 50 'have to have' books. How many books do you usually on your watch list?

 

My main goal is GA Batman but there are many goals within that. Last year my want list consisted of GA Two-Face comics. This year I'm focusing on GA Joker.

 

I've got plenty of other reading material to keep me busy while I'm waiting for comics on my want list to show up. But if it's been a while since I've had a purchase, I can get a little trigger-happy and go looking for something cool to buy. But I'm getting more disciplined.
