Popular Post sconnie_comics
Loved these Schomburg Miss Masque covers, namely America's Best Comics 23 and 25 and Exciting Comics 53. Grabbed a Bonnett's copy of 25 off eBay, but would still like to grab a 23 eventually. Larryw7, Chief1332, Black Bat and 5 others

Popular Post Black Bat
I'm a PCH collector- but these weird early Hero books are hard to resist. This cover: a flying car, apparently driverless, full of terrified tiny-headed thugs firing machine guns, punched through the air by what may be the weirdliest drawn version of Doc Strange ever, into the path of a charging, speed streaked locomotive. So insane I had to buy buy buy- and the interior does not disappoint. Includes great Doc Strange tale with an amazing three panel spread of the cover scene, and a Ghost story featuring an all out prehistoric mega-cavemen brawl! Popular Post Grottu
Found this at a used book shop today. Was in rough shape to begin with, but was mistreated further at some antique store along the way (witness the price tag scotch-taped to the back cover 🤦♂️). Anyway, I feel good about rescuing it on the cheap, plus some fun 1949 depictions of a very creepy Joker… Edited July 11, 2021 by Grottu sconnie_comics, Chief1332, Black Bat and 3 others

Popular Post Math Teacher
Two new additions to my GA collection: Western Comics #14, thanks to @catrick339, and Animal Comics #10, thanks to @SteveDuin. I now have eleven GA comics in my collection. I still need issues from 1938 - 1943, 1946, and 1951. If anyone has any suggestions, I would be glad to hear them. I know I want a GA Superman issue. I would also like to get a Timely comic, such as Human Torch, Marvel Mystery, Captain America, All-Winners, Sub-Mariner, or USA comics. However, based on what I see on Ebay, those early 1940s Timely issues are EXPENSIVE. Popular Post Red84
Just won this piece of history on HA. Nicest looking 1.8 I've ever seen. Major defect is piece missing from back cover. Popular Post Ghastly542454
I just got these 3 back from CGC yesterday. All were purchased raw and all of them were pressed and cleaned prior to being sent to CGC. I was thrilled with the grades Adventure Comics #113 and The Adventures Of Rex The Wonder Dog 🐩#4 received! I had wanted a nice graded copy of Adventure Comics #113 for years! The Rex is a rare book with CGC having only ever graded 14 copies. It features the origin and first appearance of Detective 🕵️ Chimp. The only disappointment was the Gilbert Superman which received a 4.0 due to an inch and half lower spine split. Otherwise I believe it would received a 5.0 or 5.5 too.
