BB-Gun
And don't forget the extra Buck Rogers cover that ended up in EC. Too violent for Famous Funnies I think was the reason. This reprint of the original art is nice to have too. bb

Ebel 1911
That is SO different than any other EC cover I've ever seen. Frazetta, I assume?
BB-Gun
I think Al Williamson did some similar covers for EC but Frazetta seemed to go the extra mile for everything he did. I don't think they paid him enough per page. His early work for Nedor was pretty good too. bb

BB-Gun
I like the Tarzan stories in the early Tip Top issues. But the original Sunday pages are terrific. I think this one is 1-22-33. And the Tarzan covers are pretty neat. But the Lil Abner covers are special too. BB

sacentaur
I love those Sunday pages. Agreed - very evocative, and classic in every sense of the word
Theagenes
Great stuff, BB. The original Sundays are definately the best way to enjoy Foster's art, though I only have a couple of them. The Flying Buttress repints are nice and are a least oversized. The reprints in Tip Top need a magnifying glass! And the Tarzan covers are pretty neat. Most people think that the Prince Valient Feature Book is the only cover that Foster did for comics, but actually several of the Tip Top covers are by Foster - the catch is that they are blown up panels and not original works like the FB 26:
