Love the red cover :applause:

Here's a cool Williamson cover. The story corresponding to the cover inside is superb (as all Williamson work from that era is). I saw the cover to this comic for sale a couple of years ago in Chicago. Very nice.

Is this one of your "month" books! If so, it's doubly sweet! :applause:

And an odd genre mixture to boot.

I just hope for your sake that it's not goofy.

Jack, I'm happy to report that it wasn't too goofy at all and sure was a mix. The book started with a standard bank robbery plot story with pencils that remind me of Frank Giacioa (?) followed by the Williamson story with the horror element. Then we have the typical comedy story with Crabbe's sidekick as the main character and finally, we have a true Old West story narrated by Buster Crabbe, illustrated by Harold LeDoux who turns in a very nice job, one of the better ones I've seen from him from the time period. It's such a pleasant book that it almost takes away the sting of having bought it from Metro :tonofbricks:. Here are 2 pages from the Williamson job - I particularly like the coloring on the splash of the bottom left panel. It's better when I don't take down the scan quality too much like I had to ...

Thanks for posting the pages, Scrooge. The coloring is unusual and interesting and Williamson's work is superb as always! :applause:
