No, no you need to cut off the back cover! DC demands it! And then since it would be incomplete it would fall into the POOR .5 range. And then you could sell it to me for 25% of G guide! Sound good? I used to buy doubles of all #1 issues when I was growing up..had I been 10 years old in 1940 and saw a Bat 1 with a nice pin up on the BC, I would have dropped two dimes on this one

RickHigh
Picked this cool book up today at the Charlotte Mini Con which is put on by our own Capt_Comics. Great show, Rick. (thumbs u This book is part of an original owner collection that Chris Foss just picked up. The books are not high grade, but most have very pretty OW/W or better pages.I'm not sure if I've ever seen a nicer copy of this book! There is a piece of tape on the top left corner, but it doesn't look like the cover is split. Here is the cool splash page. — Rick

RickHigh
Thanks, Billy. Yeah. The pages are really nice on this book. According the Chris, the books were stored in a bedroom closet for years and years. He said that the son of the guy who bought them just walked into his store and asked if he was interested in buying them. I think he said that the guy had died and he was moving his mom to assisted living and needed to get rid of them. — Rick
