I don't know whether a particular collector bought them off Chuck and gave them a good read or whether they were some of Edgar's second-hand purchases. Edited to add: I just looked it up and Chuck had this originally listed as a FN. So, I assume, Edgar bought it second-hand. A bit surprised to see only one higher-graded copy (an 8.5) on the census (unless I'm missing something).
