agro23
Welcome to the boards! Beautiful book... definitely on my want list. Thanks! Ever since I got the Gerber books I freaked out with Golden Age. I've made it my impossible mission to get all of the books on the covers (many of which I can't ever afford in this lifetime). So far I've managed to get a few but that's the best one yet. shrunkenhead
Accidentally posted this in the Timely thread yesterday...just realized my error, so here we go! Just got this one in the mail, after a bit of a post office SNAFU. We should start a new thread, "post your child bitc$-slappin' covers!"
143ksk
Just got this one. Very tough book to find in decent shape Edited July 16, 2005 by 143ksk

143ksk
Yeah, me too. It amazes me that more people don't collect them given the huge popularity of Peanuts itself

Bat-Hound
Proudly had Jerry Robinson autograph this at a show in May [/img] That copy has great colors! Book has white pages great gloss but water damage and fanned pages. I do not want to restore and won't fit in CGC case. My guess is still a strong VG. esquirecomics
Ok, not entirely a real comic book, but I figured it was close enough to post. I picked it up at the San Diego Comic Con. Published in 1947.
agro23
That Stan Lee book is awesome! What else did you get at SDCC? The best thing I picked up was through trade. A Crowley copy of Captain Marvel #26 in OK shape.
esquirecomics
The only book I haven't posted yet, but will, is a CGC 4.5 copy of Silver Streak #6 (scarce, first appearance of Daredevil). The others I posted in the anti-communism and ashcan threads.

nearmint
Great books! I'm always tempted to pick up a few Archies, but I gotta remain focused.

bobpfef
Nice Peps, but doesn't Archie's hair look a little... wierd... on the 61?
lou_fine
Nice Peps, but doesn't Archie's hair look a little... wierd... on the 61? Not really so weird for that particular time period.. You have to remember that the early look of the Archie characters were strikingly different from the classic look that we have become so accustomed to over the past 60 years.
