this thread has certainly given me a goal of cleaning up my canection and making things more organized...eventually.

This thread has actually inspired me to try and sell my house and buy a new one with enough space for a proper man cave rather than the spare bedroom I currently use.

I have a decent sized room as an office and I pretty much used up all the available wall space and still use the guest room. I've already learned that the bigger your space the more stuff you'll buy to fill it all up

I am currently looking myself, and I see photos online and say, "That would be a great comic room!"

Merry Christmas to everyone. :whee:

I wanted to share my Christmas 2012 display. I added some new books, comic art and hope that the display adds to the Christmas spirit of joy, hope and giving!

God Bless and a Merry Christmas to all!!

Oh yeah almost forgot ComicDoc's alter ego is now SpyderDoc as this is my new Sleigh (few months old - pictures at Hampton Beach NH a few weeks ago!)

What a great room! Quite a few of those bring back memories from years ago, especially that DC Holiday Special. The Archie OA series is very nice and so many of the Disney and Archie books have very fun and festive covers. Now I think I'm going to need to find a few choices and integrate them into our Christmas decorations next year!

LOVE the Can-Am Spyder! I've seen that at the motorcycle shows for the past few years and would love one of those to join my Harley Street Rod but that's certainly not in the near future. I do love leaning but the 3 wheels seem to have lots of benefits and the originality of it is certainly high in the cool factor.

Thanks for sharing!

Got my room about done-- have had it for a few months, but was changing the shelved to fit the CGC boxes over the last week. I have room for 25 on display at one time, and I change it weekly, but mostly just for me. I pick a box and randomly select 25 books from it!

An Onslaught 22K gold cover! That was the one book (well, technically two) I hoarded throughout the years before I came back to the hobby.

Lots of great wall space to hang your treasures! That is one thing I do not have.

Now this is bliss. Phase two of the office renovation is complete. Now the fun begins.

Gotta love an empty canvas. Wonder what I should put on those shelves. hm And look at all that wall space. :cloud9:

And with gold so high, it is probably actually worth something!

Great room. What are those plastic stands on top of the shelves? Are they originally designed for comics?

Thanks! Here is a link for the plastic stands, which also hold CGC books fine. I imagine they are intended for brochures and booklets for sales literature, but they work great for this. This company shipped my original 25 out right away, but one arrived broken, and they replaced it no problem.
