Awesome BZ :applause:

Guess I will have to add Targets to the list

Thanks, Bill.

Target is a great title to collect.

The list of contributors to that particular issue, for example, includes:

Carl Burgos (White Streak)

Bill Everett (Bull's-Eye Bill)

Harry Campbell (Ghost Ship)

Jack Cole (Hi-Grass Twins)

Joe Simon (T-Men)

Harold Potter (City Editor)

John Spina (Little Puppet Man)

Fred Schwab (Sapp Family)

Alonzo Warren (Calling 2-R)

Tarpe Mills (Fantastic Feature Films)

That's a pretty impressive line-up of GA talent.

You got the ad right and logically the Bronco Bill is from...

I think Foster probably didn't do Tarzan by the time it was reprinted in the Single Series. Hogarth did a pretty good job

Just a few more post from the leftovers of Wally's collection that I bought at the flea market. And there is one for Jack in there.

All excellent books posted BB. Thanks.

Here's what always kills me about GA and advertising. Imagine daring to come up with this ad copy about the game. The guys in the ad department went a "tad" over board here. lol

My favorite line has to be: "Players roll the dice to pass their course". That's the most realistic sentence of the bunch for some college students. :insane:

At least one! All great covers, but the Real Life A-Bomb and Startling acid covers have a lot of appeal.

Good ol' Wally!

Thanks

Jack

Wow -- amazing story. Even several oxygen pages.

The outer space page is classic Golden Age!

Did you mention artist and writer credits for the series?

Jack

Here's another exciting episode of, Calling 2-R.

What a hoot!

Which book is it from? Not Tip-Top 18, is it? Post-war GIs in college boom?

"...Flunk cards keep the game full of pep!" and "the fun of rummy" (maybe not quite what they meant) are pretty good statement of some students' college experience too.

I would like to know more about this one. Is it an original ERB story. Pretty cool cover anyway

I think Sonny mispelled his name but the book is in nice condition

I loved all the covers but I'm especially impressed with the three above.

I don't recall ever seeing those Hit Comics before now.

They're VERY impressive. :applause:

And of course I love the St John Burrough's cover. (thumbs u

For the past few weeks I've been digging through stacks of treasures in my mountaintop retreat, exploring rooms that have long been sealed off, looking for something a little different to show you.

Finally, I found what I was seeking.

Here's the pulp.
