Jayman
Oooo...that's so much better than the back cover!
BB-Gun
Just saw this Thanksgiving cover. And I noticed that Bob Fuje did a Shock Gibson story for Harvey. This Speed issue (38) was a treat to read. Thanks to goldenagecomics.uk. Harvey superhero comics are way undervalued. They had great covers and really good interior art. BangZoom
Thanks, BB. I'll have to do some looking to see if I can turn up some more Thanksgiving covers. Does anyone know of any Golden Age Thanksgiving stories?
BangZoom
I think this is the only Thanksgiving cover I already have scanned.
shiverbones
Great Thanksgiving covers! I never saw the comic comics one before. That Fuje splash is a knockout!
BangZoom
Great Thanksgiving covers! I never saw the comic comics one before. I don't think it's a very well known comic. I can imagine the confusion when collectors of that title go around to dealers at conventions and ask, "Do you have any Comic Comics?"
BangZoom
Comic Comics has lots of great strips. One of the best is Basil Wolverton's, Mystic Moot. It looks a lot like Crumb's work.

Does anyone know of any Golden Age Thanksgiving stories? This is my favorite Thanksgiving themed cover. I always found it funny and disturbing at the same time. That is disturbing. What is the "Dot and Dan in Santaland" story advertised on the cover? Is that a newspaper comic strip?
