Yeah.. I'd say 4.5.. large crease makes me think maybe 4.0 but I'll stick with 4.5 cause that top edge is so clean.. ohhh wait a sec.. it's cropped

I'm thinkin' 5.0 It presents very nicely, despite the crease, the edge chip, and what appears to be some tape residue along the REFC. I am told it has fresh, supple white pages . . . I will follow with better scans later when I get them.

could make a 5.0 ... I had an ST score 5.5 because of an invisible crease that was just like it... ( I mean invisible ) and it had no Marvel chipping so a 5.0 could happen...

No, it appears to residue of some kind, not tape.

My guess from the facts I've heard so far is that it is an unrestored original owner copy - I may just have to make a visit and view the book in hand

4.5..the edge chip, tape residue and long crease are just too strong a trifecta to ignore, despite the prestige of this particular issue...

Any two of the three present, and I'd go with a solid 5.0, maybe higher, but not with all three...
