does anyone know when these Mark Jeweller's inserts for the DC books came out, were they in all DC books during this time, also did any other inserts come packed with DC comics?

1) Aug 1972 is the oldest I have seen/have...it's possible they started in Jul 1972 with the switch from 52 to 32 pages but I haven't seen any...

 

2) Yes

 

3) Military only? Not that I'm aware of. DC didn't participate in the Mennen and Alka Seltzer campaigns. It's possible they may have had the Bose wrap but I haven't found a Mar 1985 DC with MJ insert to confirm...

This book is totally . It has the most fantastic colour, gloss and eye-appeal, as well as being structurally superb. The main reason why it's downgraded to a straight VF is the indent that you can see on the bottom edge of the back cover. Trust me on this one....in hand, it's breath-taking.
