Hi,

I see the status of your snipe for the item#140107992425 as "Bid Too Low" which means that your maximum bid (US $305.00) was below the winning bid (US $310.00).

Be sure to put your real max in your bid ---you won’t have time once the snipe fires to bid again!

Please do let us know if we can be of any further assistance.

Regards,

-Ryan D.

You lucked out. That comic was NOT NM. I got pictures from the seller and there was a 2" corner crease and multiple spine creases. You would have been pissed if you won smile.gif

Why not just let your own computer handle the snipes? Mine is on 24/7 so I may as well let it handle them all on it's own rather than going through some 3rd party. I've never had a problem, plus I don't have to pay anyone. thumbsup2.gif

Can you direct us to a sharewar? program that does this?? confused-smiley-013.gif

Thanks.

There's a certain thrill to doing manual sniping at the last possible moment.

thumbsup2.gif

Yeah...like the thrill of having the pages not loading fast enough or submitting your bid fast enough. No thanks.

Or going for it and suddenly the 'log-in' page pops up. Omg, I was screaming into the phone at my girlfriend.

Sorry to hear that. confused-smiley-013.gif

I have yet to have a problem with them. I guess there are flaws with every service out there though.

I hope you find another book that you can bid on. For a top bid of $556 you should have no problem!

Good luck

John thumbsup2.gif

Thanks John......the seller advertised the GL 76 at NM so if it was a true NM (which I was just informed that it was NOT) it would be worth tons of $. Glad the snipe didn/t work tonofbricks.gif

bidnip let me down for the first time last weekend frown.gif

still generally happy with it though

I tried an 'offline' program called snipe monkey once, and that failed far more than the online ones.

Maybe therein lies your problem. You are supposed to be online with the program, not offline. makepoint.gif

Snipe monkey sucks though.

I think he's saying a local sniping utility, as opposed to a server/remote based sniping utility.

exactly

my pc is connected to the internet 24/7 and hardly has a slow net connection

snipe monkey just consistently let me down

so I went to a paid for subscription with hammersnipe, then went over to bidnip.

I really hate that.

I always check the "stay logged in" box but it only works half the time. 893censored-thumb.gif
