Lower spine f/c has some color flakes (see photo) and there is a bit of flaking paper on the b/c (see photo)

grading from scans is hard enough - from photos it's next to impossible to do with any accuracy - but I'll bite - 6.0?

Yeah, I know...buy a scanner you fool! I'm in the middle of some major house work and I don't want to buy one yet....

Nice - my guess was a bit conservative I see - no doubt the result of buying books on ebay with only a photo - where there are always more flaws to be found when the book is in hand.

I was going to say 7.0. Guess I was too late. Good pick up on a tough book to find. Now get your 153 and 155. Those will take care of the "scare" end run Whiz books.

I have been back for quite a while. Just don't post nearly as often. Been delaying looking at the grading thread for fear, I have gotten rusty.

CGC must be pretty consistent with 7.0s of this type of book. I have a Whiz 70 I recently got back and condition-wise it is almost exactly the same. It received a 7.0 as well.

 

If you ever decide to sell, please let me know. I'd like to collect Whiz books in this grade particularly (since I have a starting point there.)
