Special Golden Age book post. Post a special treasure...

Great books everyone!

Here's my special treasure. My dad & I went to our first convention together about 5 years ago and bought this book together. It's not high grade & not my most valuable book, however it has lots of sentimental value. We both love the war covers, and it was the beginning of our interest in Golden Age.

After purchasing this book about 4 years ago I realized that I wanted to become a GGA collector:

How ironic! After SEEING this book today I think I will become a GGA collector! grin.gif

Absolutely positively one of the coolest books in the hobby. And this example looks to me more like a FN+ in my opinion. Simply gorgeous (and cool provenance as well). 893applaud-thumb.gif

Both Simon and Kirby confirmed that this is solo Simon.

Thanks for the info. It certainly is Kirby-influenced, which is what can make the correct attribution very tricky for these older comics.
