spookley
Yeah, the JLA/JSA issues were usually my favorites. I started with JLA in the late 70's and always looked forward to those as a kid. I loved the Darkseid one. Congrats on finishing the 80 Pg. Giant run! Any Group shots?
tth2
Thanks... I totally understand. On most of the other comic boards I frequent, we discuss a wider range of topics. And we try to pass along a good deal when we see it. I am so sorry if that is inappropriate here. Please accept my apologies. You can go to a place called "The Watercooler" on these boards and discuss as wide a range of topics as you want.
ltcfan
Thanks for asking... I wasn't sure if you were asking to see some of my early Justice League books or the JLA 80 Pagers? I threw in a few of the fun (but not JLA) 80 and 100 pagers to fill out the picture. Most are low grade copies. enjoy Edited October 16, 2007 by ltcfan

JLA_ALL_THE_WAY
Pretty JSA ish, Silver. To honor the day of my birth, I'll hand out a few presents(pics) to you all: My own JSA contribution: The return of Red Tornado in the Silver Age (doesn't seem too happy about it, does he?) Gardner Fox's swan song... Plus, I'll be offering some recent CGC subs in the Forum Sale thread later today! Tanx a bunch, Rick

JLA_ALL_THE_WAY
Happy birthday Rick! Do you have any 9.4 or 9.6's sitting around waiting to be graded? Thanx spook. Funny Guy. My 9.4/9.6/9.8s are all nestled in snug as a bug in a rug. Had all my high-end books graded the 1st year. Now the only decision is whether or not to re-sub for possible grade-bumps due to early overly-strict grading...? What to do...what to do... spookley
I wish I started buying these up a few years ago. My initial goal was to finish the 1-100 run in 3-4 years, but other bidders out there are not cooperating. I hope it doesn't take a decade
JLA_ALL_THE_WAY
Depends on the grade range you're shootin' for. 9.0 or higher, a decade seems overly optimistic...even in these "internet-available" times. Unless your Uncle's last name is Gates or Buffet. But anyways. Rick

And not all in HG.
john72tex
I'm still working on my run also. I'd say #3 and #14 are pretty hard to find in HG due the black covers. I image the 80 Page Giants are difficult also.

spookley
I agree tth2, #3, 4, 24, and 26 are hard to find. Over the last couple years, I haven't seen #6 in high-grade for sale. Actually some of the higher # issues in the 80's and 90's are hard to find in 9.4 or better (ie: 83, 86, 93)
spookley
Anyone win anything on the Comiclink auction? I was completely shut out. Got outbid on every JLA I bid on. Very aggressive bidding
tth2
I thought the 9.4 #35 went for a surprisingly decent price considering the smegma or whatever it was at the top edge of the front cover.

Anyone win anything on the Comiclink auction? I was completely shut out. Got outbid on every JLA I bid on. Very aggressive bidding I got a couple, but boyyy howdy, seems the movie buzz is really starting to stir the pot! I put in several thrill bids to push the numbers up, but most of them got eclipsed by a country mile! Glad I have most of those already. (Remember my previous post about having the fund$ if you seriously want to finish within a decade?) I thought the 9.4 #35 went for a surprisingly decent price considering the smegma or whatever it was at the top edge of the front cover. Yeah, what the heck was that, Tim?! No way CGC would let that pass intentionally. If so, then my 9.4 just became a 9.8. Rick
