I have a big purchase coming up, so I need to sell my bestest Pussycat copy. I thought I would offer it here first to the diligent readers of this thread. I am asking $375 shipped (U.S. only), same day PayPal please. PM's only, let's not clutter this thread.

Here's the linkydink to scans and opinions in the Grading Forum. It's a beyootiful copy!

Make that three copies. (Actually four -- I bought one recently that showed up as a Buy-It-Now.) When it droughts, it droughts, but when it rains, it pours.

I'd hardly call 11 copies graded in the Census "pouring". But on that note, it isn't unusual to go 6-8 months without seeing a copy available to purchase. I think both of the copies currently on eBay merit attention, but they're not even in the same league as my copy.

"'Twas The Night Before Xmas..." is part of the January, 1970 issue of Men magazine.

The Lady On The Late Show! was most likely first printed in Men Annual 3 of 1969. I've been unable to locate a copy to verify that. If anyone reading this thread has a copy, please let us know which story is in there.

That is a beautiful copy, divad!

Does anyone know if there's a connection here? That logo is very similar...

Discerned from the auction, itself, which will, eventually, disappear.

I was thinking of posting about this. I emailed this guy a while ago and he sent me some interior shots. It does not appear to have any connection to the Pussycat we know and love. However, it is $11 on eBay, so if anybody is reeeeallly curious, and doesn't mind paying the foreign shipping, you could find out to make sure. One note: This was made in 1967, and the U.S. version of Pussycat came out in 1968. Not sure if that means anything, and it might just be a fluke that they have the same name, but the closeness in time of publication is curious.

The original art to Her Wild Wild Wheels! by Jim Mooney...

http://www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290617810764&ssPageName=ADME:B:SS:US:1123

I picked up the Spanish Pussycat #2 (1967), I'm guessing someone saw a Pussycat story (1965-1967) and was inspired by it to draw a similar style comic book. No mention inside of #1 or later issues...

That's pretty tempting but I have no idea if the price is fair.

Thank you for investigating (and investing in) the Spanish language Pussycat comic, Mr. Cent!

Men Annual 3 of 1969 contains The Swingin' Statue! - 5 pages, with no creator credits. My earlier guess that the issue contained The Lady On The Late Show! was obviously wrong.

If my calculations are correct, we only have four Pussycat stories left to identify...

I picked up the Spanish Pussycat #2 (1967), I'm guessing someone saw a Pussycat story (1965-1967) and was inspired by it to draw a similar style comic book. No mention inside of #1 or later issues...

Update. I purchase this full story. :acclaim:

When I get it in I'll do it justice with some nice full size scans.

Also, I believe that I can add to the master list because on the back of these pages are each time the story was published and which issue and number of what it was published in.

50, if you'd like this info, let me know!
