I found a really nice copy of the Death of Superman TPB recently.

Getting this back in 9.8 was a home run, this will also most likely be my final CGC submission for the year, ending a heck of year for the collection.

Today is also the 30th anniversary of the release of Superman #75.

That’s awesome!  I think that newspaper was included with one of the sealed packs if you want to give that a try! :baiting:

Maybe it would look more authentic if I cracked the books out and placed them on top of a giant newspaper mock-up. hm If I did that then also I wouldn’t have fret over holder inconsistency. :tonofbricks:

Excellent idea!  Just be sure to return the labels to CGC… don’t want this photo-op to be the reason the census ends up being unreliable! lol

I forgot to mention I have the second printing of the TPB. It too looks really nice but the back cover has a non color breaking vertical line. I plan to send it for pressing next year, I’m also going to try a different presser.

I’ve heard good things. I’ve also heard rumblings the CCS doesn’t put the individual care into each book anymore. Of course I haven’t had a bad experience yet.
