  1. I don't remember if this was the reprint or the original Planet 20 but it was coverless.
  2. I have collected a few All-Flash and half of them have incomplete covers.
  3. I don't have that one but the splash is almost the same as the cover.
  4. I have picked up a lot of repro covers for my golden age comics from comicsx04 (Tom). Most of the covers are pretty good and many of them have interiors. I am pretty sure he could supply a Bats 47 cover. I have purchased Batman 1-8 covers for my collection and many others. I don't have Bats 1 and 2 but I am still hopeful. Batman 47 was a remainder copy that I purchased back in the sixties (55 years ago). The other two in the bottom pic were purchased from Capt. Blue Hen and someone on ebay (and they have complete covers)
  5. OK, Seven Seas cover is an action shot but in case you wonder what happened next (as I do) I noticed a page with a follow up. Luckily she was fighting a lone shark.
  6. I noticed another summary of Superman's origin in World's Finest 65. I think I have seen it before as a post from another country. Does anyone remember?
  7. It is possible to find those early Two-Face issues which have pretty good covers.
  8. The action cover on Detective 80 related better to the Sunday strip than the comic book story.
  9. I like the two-face stories.
  10. Not sure this guy could hold Ma Deuce while flying on the Green Lama's back. He must be pretty tough.
  11. It's the basic western ambush. Baker made some nice action covers and he was really good at drawing horses.
  12. I probably have more Lone Ranger comics than any other western. Maybe more than Superman but about the same as Batman.
  13. Superman used to hangout with Hoppy back in the late forties or early fifties. You can also find the Shadow and GI Joe in the movie (Victor Jory and Robert Mitchum).
  14. One of those stories that made Gaines the center of the censorship backlash.
  15. Cole was pretty good at drawing animals (and everything else).
  16. They do use the colors well on those ME comics, in spite of the fact that the Ghost Rider is in black white.
  17. I noticed that Maneely likes to make a composite character splash for his comics. Ringo Kid was one of them. Hoppy and Ringo liked those black outfits but I think Hoppy looked better with a red shirt and blue jeans. He was supposed to be a tougher looking guy than the Bill Boyd version. I didn't notice this difference when I was a kid and I was a big fan of the TV show. I am finally catching up on all of the old movies thanks to the western channel.
  18. Two Sinjgle Series issues with Bronco Bill?
  19. I have a few covers for the comics listed below but I still need most of them. Shock Suspenstories 11 Human Torch 38 Ringo Kid 1 Jungle Tales 1 Menace 9 Informer 2 Weird Mysteries 9 Justice 44 Arrowhead 3 Black Diamond 51 Fight Against Crime 5 and 21 Cime Cases 11 Rocky Jorden Private Eye 8 Hot Rods and Racing Cars 1 Space Adventures 8
  20. Those are really good books. I thought I might have a SS 5 interior but it is probably SS 4. I'll have to find it.
  21. I like the early issues with the Newsboy Legion. I wish they did a crossover with Robin in Star Spangled.
  22. You need a signed Blackstone drawing to go with the comic.
