  1. A new cover on my poor copy of Daredevil 1. Now it looks good with my other favs.
  2. This didn't get much of a response on our original art Facebook page but I like it.
  3. Cool book buddy!!! The art on that one is much different that the other stuff we are more accustomed too!! Neat I like Army and Navy and this issue has an especially good story. Mighty Mouse giant is the 100-page issue that actually has 144-pages, I think. Anything with Ditko is good.
  4. Now that is one heck of a group shot. Wow. They look to be in pretty good shape. How did you manage to keep them from the proverbial 'my mom threw them out' situation ? My Mom threw out all of my toys but kept the comics. She knew they were my favorites. It didn't stop my brother from reading them but he took good care of them.
  5. Beautiful That Challengers story is an all time fav. I still have my original copy from the fifties. I think it made me a Kirby fan for life.
  6. Not a big group but they are different. One is signed by Gil Kane and one isn't.
  7. Before I could afford to buy early silver and golden age comics, I could pick up annuals that published stories from old Superman comics. All of these are from my original collection.
  8. I like the Elongated Man mystery stories, even the corny nose wiggle. I used to have the complete run back in the late sixties. Stopped collecting for several years and traded away my early issues of Flash. I still have a copy of 109 which is my earliest now, I think.
  9. That's one of my favs too. I am especially fond of the bottom row.
  10. Oh yeah, there it (Prize 37) is with my fav Frankenstein cover.
  11. I had that one and the one below but haven't seen them in a while. It may have disappeared with my Superboy 100.
  12. It was reprinted in the MM Birthday Party giant but they changed the torture-escape panels. I don't have that one but bid on it many times.
  13. I have been looking for that early Bugs. Nice copy too.
  14. Purchased the Flash annual at the drug store back in the sixties.
  15. Not sure if that is correct. This Skyman 2 cover depicts a germ warfare scene. The Purple Plague story in Action 19 predates both of these.... but I am not really sure if it was a weapon since it was more like genocide. By the way, General Amherst was knighted by the queen for infecting the native American Indians with smallpox. History is kind to the winners.
  16. Some times it isn't the art but just the topic that makes the cover great.
  17. Have I done this before? Doesn't matter. I see things differently every day. Catman 20 and 31 Human Torch 13 Marvel Mystery 26 Marvel Mystery 21 Batman 17 Black Terror 4 Seven Seas 4 Action 17 All Star 33 I coulda picked 8 Batman covers. or one of these by Cole. or picked a fav by Mac Raboy.
