Yeah, that was me that gave the Thing! book a 6.5.

This was my thought as well. It's obviously been amateurishly pressed at some time. Maybe the waviness was created by excessive heat? Still, it's a nice book, I will take the word of the owner that no other restoration has been done. I would give it a 5.0 maybe a 5.5.

Just my opinion but with the rusty staples and water damage I would think it will grade lower. Around 2.0-2.5. You have to grade key books! it's in the comic collector bylaws.

I get it on the frndly tv app. There is a small monthly subscription of 6.99 for it though.

Another 6 points. I gave the super comics 9.4 Scuffs??? Foxing?? I see nothing! An Angel kissed the book and it dropped to a 9.0.

I gave the DD an 8.5. Lo, There shall come a day....

Well, I'm at 6 points. I was right with my first grades for Tessie and Veronica but changed them after a second look.

The font is slightly narrower. You can see the differences in the letter M/m as well.

I gave my Secret Wars #8 away to a friend as a gift. Plus, I knew it was only one page of the book that just showed Peter finding the costume and not much else.
