  1. And like everything, there is the aftermath...pyrotechnic haze and tons of confetti...and with that, the show was over and so was a long day. Kraven and I worked from 7am until about midnight and it was worth every minute of overtime to get to see that show.
  2. By the end, everyone was feeling some KISS love. Seriously, it was an outstanding show! Kraven now wants to get some KISS CDs.
  3. The closing of the show was amazing! The current KISS guitarist is from Portland, Oregon.
  4. KISS did a great salute to the military and gave $150K to Hire Heroes, which assists our military vets in finding jobs. Then the confetti/pyrotechnic/laser/lighting bomb went off and this picture does not do it justice. It was a rock n' roll party and Kraven was loving it!
  5. Paul Stanley on the platform in the crowd after he swung over via cable. Kraven liked it because it took him back to the jungle and swinging through the trees.
  6. A shot of Kraven on the floor with me checking it out. The crowd was cool and people were having a great time. We only threw one person out for...I kid you not...spanking it on the floor. Other than that weirdo, that was it. I worked the first show at the Matt Knight Arena and it was Avenged Sevenfold, Stone Sour, Hollywood Undead, and New Medicine. Not a single person was ejected. Same thing with Five Finger Death Punch. Elton John? You'd think a crowd like that would be mellow. Hell no. Probably the worst event I worked was Phish. Rowdy, drunk, high fans who openly urinated, defecated, and vomited on the floor. A bunch of arrests and just out of hand. Needless to say, Phish is not welcome back. KISS? Awesome. Great show, great crowd. I've never been to a KISS show before and next time I'll go on my own time.
  7. This show was masterfully done and Paul Stanley had the entire crowd eating out of his hand. Again, I've seen a lot of shows and I've never seen a crowd at this arena so into a show...
  8. The show started with a bang! Lot of pyrotechnics and the KISS stage rig was amazing. Floating platforms, flying Gene Simmons, rope swinging Paul Stanley, rising platforms, lasers. I have seen a lot of shows, both on my own time and while working, but KISS was easily one of the best, most fun and most energetic shows.
  9. Craptastic shot of the arena before the show.
  10. Saturday was the night Kraven had been looking forward to. His mind seemed to be distance to the thought of heroes and completely focused on...
  11. Kraven got to see KISS and had a blast! Pics coming tomorrow.
  12. Kraven is helping me out with a sales thread...
  13. The people at KT were awesome and they applied the tape to Kraven just as they would have for an actual knee injury
  14. Well, this is a hippie college town. After we seized some marijuana earlier in the day, Kraven said he wanted to visit a dispensary and he was glad to see the Western world finally embrace nature's givings. Looks like I'm taking Kraven to a dispensary on my day off.
  15. The tape was simply amazing and Kraven was feeling fine in no time! With that, Kraven and I called it a day. It rained later in the evening, but that didn;t keep us from grilling some albacore and Oregon snapper...
  16. Kraven was in a lot of pain, but he managed to control it...
  17. The person helping Kraven said it was important to precisely place the tape.
  18. During our walk around the trials, we got into a foot pursuit with a thief. Kraven moved fast and gracefully...right until he slipped on a banana. Kraven managed to get up and help me apprehend the suspect. Kraven was seriously injured, but luckily there was a kinetic tape expert on hand who quickly examined Kraven and offered to professionally apply kinetic tape to his injury to help ease the pain and speed up recovery...
  19. Kraven did try out a Kind bar - they're pretty damn delicious!
  20. Kraven wanted some cider, but since I was working he was polite enough to decline.
