Highest graded by a long shot. Beautiful colors even though the PQ isn't the best. I did have it pressed to see about getting the booboo on the top center edge taken out but it didn't do much.

I thought you guys might like that. I've got a half dozen more coming back in the next couple of weeks, this one just went through faster. I was really expecting an 8.5. The PQ is about where I expected.

It's the open possibilities that are so fascinating. Will he be eaten by the cat? Will the big guy squash him like a bug? Will the big guy reach his expiration date, so boldly marked on his starched white shirt, and die before he squashes the little guy? Why are the walls so thin and what is holding that lamp in the wall up? Why does the cat only have three toes? Endless possibilities.

Yeah, I think if we all made such good investments, this would be a happy thread, indeed. The #4 on its own deserves major kudos.

The grade was made by the back cover. It was a mess and I don't know if it really deserved the grade it had. I admit when I got it I was pretty disappointed in how it looked.

I don't know. Scat-Man and Doo-doo Boy has a certain aura...or aroma...whatever.

Coz they did a crappy job of slabbing it. It actually slides around inside. I've got to send it back and get it fixed.

I grossly overpaid for this one in the last ComicConnect auction. Got it in and the FC was perfect. The back cover was wavy enough to surf on. A quick stop at classics and its probably worth about what I paid. Sorry about the scanner glare.
