  1. I will be selling off some of my Mystery Tales issues Saturday June 15 starting approximately 2-2:30 PM EST in the For Sale section. Beautiful copies including # 1 Mile High copy in CGC 9.0, #2 Aurora copy in 7.5, #8 Bethlehem copy in 8.0 plus raw issues of #3, #12, #14 and #15. Please no PM's for grades or pre-sale offers! I will not respond to any. Thanks for your interest. JT
  2. Here is mine. Picked this up from Conrad E. when he was still dealing comics.
  3. Like these books? These and other MT issues from my collection going up for sale, on the boards. Go to the Annoucements thread for more details.
  4. Finally found a nice copy of this one. And this one.
  5. Just picked up this recently. Have looked for years for a HG copy.
  6. I bought this copy raw from Ebay in 2003 for $325.00. Bought it for the great Ditko cover and enjoyment, though, it maybe one of the best investments I ever made.
  7. For $100k it's yours. I'll even throw in free shipping. Awh, there is inked writing on the cover (60). At least a 99.5% discount is in order.
  8. Beautiful! Quite possibly the best copy in existence right there.
  9. Nice pick ups Jimbo. My favorite is the WOF 2. Best cover in the run and one of in all post code Atlas.
  10. Never seen any Strange tales . MT's, I am not sure. I may have seen some for sale but cannot remember. It has been over 20 years since I parted with the 93 and 94. These books are probably locked away in collections and may not see the light of day for many, many moons.
  11. I purchase the MT 93 and 94 from Rozansky. While the 93 was structurally incredible, it had a large 3 or 4 inch piece torn off the back cover, hence the Fine grade in the cat. listing. The 94, well I do not know who has it now, but it was practically flawless. Probably an easy 9.4 , at least. Traded them off years and years ago.
  12. This is the second APC 18 that I have owned. This one was an upgrade from a real low grade copy I traded away years ago. I would say it is a HTF issue. Has a decent Baker story "Murder in Mink". Cannot go wrong with Cinderella Love. While 25 is the holy grail, these other issues aren't slouches either.
  13. Just can't get enough Strange. Tales that is.
  14. Part of my Atlas haul at the recent Mike Carbo's Big Apple show. I am giddy at finally obtaining a decent copy of this issue. A Maneely cover gem!! ST 28 is a lower grade copy, but I will buy this issue anytime at any grade.
  15. The Adventures Into WW title is definitely my favorite Atlas title. I know that Mystery Tales have been getting some serious coin lately. But give me AITWW all day long.
  16. Few of the prototype issues are going to be as direct and obvious as TTA 27. I am no expert in trying to unravel the minds of Stan Lee or Kirby. But somewhere along the line, they would refer to a previous character they created and then incorporate certain features or characteristics to use in a new creation. I.E., iron mask which creates a feeling of fear, strength, the unknown? The TOS 31 character is an alien whose mask like face created fear. Only in the end was it revealed that it was his real face. The mask certainly is similar to Dr.Doom's. They wanted Doom to project fear and strength.
  17. My favorite Nedor Schomberg cover. A rather hairy situation. Ah, its just a little garden snake.
