  1. I think the # 122 was the first SA I ever owned. Here are a few more from my collection.
  2. Geez, lets get this thread back on track. Strange Tales, my favorite title and always brings a smile to my face when when coming across copies like these
  3. There are just so many great covers of this title that its difficult to choose which to post here. I picked a few that aren't shown very often ( I think?).
  4. Here are two recent acquistions. Love the cover colors of these two.
  5. Here is page 41 with what was left of the early horror titles. Most of these had been picked over almost a decade prior to this catalog. But, notice TT# 15 NM for $110 still available.
  6. Here is the catalog I received in 1994 and placed a few orders. Very nice quality item full of thousands of comics for sale from the warehouse find.
  7. Boo-Yah, Dan. Those two books are just sooo fine! Congrats.
  8. I took a stab at the TOS 17, too. I had to pass on it so I could compete for other books. Lots of interest in that book. Picked up one Cage book, TOS 24 (8.5). How about the JIM #1 (6.5), almost $7K!!!!? A very healthy selection of nice PH's to fill in those gaps in one's PH collection.
  9. I was lucky to get my copy of the ALL Picture All True. Found it buried in a misc. GA box from SilverAge comics at a NYC convention years ago. Priced at condition guide. I also have never seen nor heard of another copy. Nice pick up of the Teen. Romances #1. The issue isn't hard to find, but at CGC 8.0 , very sweet!!
  10. Wow, what great books being posted. Just had to join the fun. I just picked up my All Top 16 recently after a long, long search . Posted some other sweet MB covers.
  11. Fantastic pickup of the TTA 29. Tough, tough book in grade. Congrats!!!
  12. Awesome JIM group shot, KirbyJack. (thumbs u I won one PH from the HA auction, the TTA 16. Tried for one of those 9.4 JIM 26 or 28 but got blown away. Man, some one wanted them real bad!! Fess up, any boardies nab them?? The TTA 13 9.2 went for big bucks, too. Korvac??
  13. Thought i'd post a few JIM. Hard to believe that this 8.5 copy is currently the highest CGC graded. Recent pickup from CLink. Edenwald copy Picked up this Bethlehem copy over 8 years ago. Paid top dollar at the time which almost had me s---ting my pants. Glad I did, though. Still highest graded copy with a great Everett cover
  14. Very nice, Pete!! A bunch of sweet looking books on CC.
  15. Thanks guys. I try posting stuff, when I can find the time. I enjoy sharing with other mutual collectors of my favorite genre. Prehero collectors Rock
  16. Thanks!!! I expected an 8.5 maybe a 9.0 on the JIM 62. There is a very slight color loss flake off the spine. CGC is brutal on any spine wear. Picked up this copy raw from a Comicconnect auction 3 years ago. Have some more coming in soon.
  17. Fresh new slabs just back from CGC. Some of these exceded my expectations.
  18. Those HA books were very decent copies. I picked up the TTA 25 and the TOS 16. Bronty, that ST 89 reader copy went for 507 big ones. Congrats to HaydenTO, nice batch.
  19. TOS # 4 is notorious for Marvel chipping. Almost every copy that I have seen, whether at cons or Ebay, usually have some degree of chipping.
  20. I wondered who got that sweet TTA 12. I put in some healthy bids for it. Congrats Korvac.
  21. Just to, to many nice books were offered all at one time. There were 3 copies of some issues and several issues of different titles with two copies available. Some great buys in the 7.5-8.0 books. I was able to snag a few. TTA #3 (9.0) and #18 (8.5), TOS # 29 (8.5) and #30 (9.0). Bronty mentioned some of the high sales. Included were Str. Tales # 8 (9.2) $3400, # 12 (9.4) $4500 and # 14 (9.0) $2300. High grade ST's are going through the roof!
  22. Great pick up, Bronty. That TOS 3 (9.6) for $9600.00 with cream/OW pages.
